When Ruth moves to Bethlehem from Moab with her husband’s mother, nobody knew anything about her except she was Naomi’s daughter-in-law, her husband died young,  and here she was.

People soon learned she had a good work ethic, was totally committed to her husband’s mother,  and displayed a true spirit of a submissive character.
