Judgment Will Come

Nuremburg, Germany had been the scene of celebration for many Nazi victories in their attempt to conquer the world. It had been the place where Hitler’s fiery rhetoric whipped an entire nation into a frenzy believing in a “Thousand year Reich.”

The pageantry and spectacle of thousands of troops marching in unison and thousands of onlookers experiencing the glow of the torches and banners displayed for all to see was a sight to behold.

But  then came the end of World War II,  a shattered army, a nation ravaged by war,  and a broken destitute people. However, as allied forces occupied the nation and it’s people began to rebuild their lives and country,  Nuremburg once again was the center of activity.

The Nazi leaders that once stood in the grandstands and dragged the world through war,  now sat being tried for war crimes by an international tribunal. Germany’s leaders, once above the law,  would find themselves sentenced to death or taking their own lives. Judgment had fully come to those that seemed to have escaped the system.

Ecclesiastes 8:11-12, “Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear G-d, who fear before Him.” N.K.J.

Things might seem to go out of control,  but in the end G-d has a way of making things right , He always does.
